After a few upsets with the regularity of my heartbeats Arsenal beat Man Utd 2-1! And what a game it was and definitely it was a game that a perservering Arsenal deserved! I must admit that Henry did deserve a bit of a talking to to say the least for some impressive theatrics!

I won’t bother writing anymore! I am thrilled, the fans were all thrilled (I was there you see:)) and thats that! If you want to read a good account of it, please check out the following link.

Arsenal 2 – Manchester United 1

(I had to write that again!)

Arsenal vs Man Utd

20 January, 2007

I can’t wait!  Lets see how the pride of North London take apart Manchester United! Oh I can’t wait to see their skill, elegance and passion all combine into an awesome force that will rip them to shreds…ok I’ll have to calm myself down a bit…breath in….breath out

Arsenal 2 – Blackburn Rovers 0 !!!

In a thrilling match clouded by a ridiculous tackle by Savage that resulted in Gilberto being sent off (whats the point of the cam if its never used and the ref isn’t told about Savage’s antics) Arsenal showed resilience, technical superiority and above all flair.

The first goal by Toure was a brilliant example of both Henry and Toure at their finest. What we had was immaculate vision by Henry and great understanding between the two. With the free kick, Henry saw Toure take a run whicsh then saw him at the end of a brilliantly placed ball which he headed with immaculate finishing. 1-0.

The second goal was an awesome run by Henry from near the Arsenal box down the flank and a pass to Fabregas who held it ever so slightly only to then slip it to Henry who unleashed it with the power and accuracy of a world-class archer. It was truly superb. A great away win and Mark Hughes could only shake his head as the Arsenal steam train charges on.

WELL DONE THE GUNNERS!

Gunners March ON!

Julio ‘the beast’ Baptista led the rout of Liverpool in a 3-6 win over Liverpool at The Kop. Maybe Arsenal showed total disregard for the hall of greats, the stadium that saw one of the most powerful teams in football emerge and a pitch that showed the world what young ambitious men can achieve in the world of sport, but in completely demolishing Liverpool with their own second team they paved the way for a future that only sees the red of Arsenal.

The absolute confidence in the team was awe-inspiring and made Liverpool’s attempts at coming back look pathetic. They finally found no reason to continue and the exuberant Arsenal fans crowed their way back home!

Now the team to watch is Arsenal – and don’t take your eyes off Aliadiere, Baptista or Van Persie who will be the new Premiership lads about town.

I am a very happy Arsenal fan!

King Henry

7 January, 2007

Now that he is back in the team, I hope that Henry will also be back to his best. This season has seen a marked drop in his form and I hope that for the remainder of his season we will see Thierry back to his excellent standard. On another note, I was walking around the Emirates stadium with a mate who works there a few days ago and I am very impressed – everything is technologically advanced and gleaming! My friend was telling me that now they are also watching out not just for yobs but litter bugs! So make sure if you go there you DO NOT throw anything on the floor otherwise you will be escorted out of the stadium. You’ve been warned.

Arsenal magic wows the Kop

Yet again the pride of North London do it in style and we cruise to a 3-1 victory over Liverpool at the Kop.

The match was really good and to be honest I am worried about jinxing this side that seems to have a really topsy-turvy set of runs this season…I was actually worried about Henry’s return to the team as they gelled quite well without him – but no, he did great and the scoreline does justice to the team. There were a few contentious referee decisions but thats life.

Well done Arsenal!
