This guy is about to swim up the Amazon river, risking his life and catching a million and one tropical diseases purely to “prove to the world that nothing is surmountable”. I am not sure if the mistake is from him or from the metro.co.uk people but what was more laughable, quite frankly, is his ridiculous citation of Martin Luther King; a man who died to abolish racism and to see equality established in what is a very unjust country.

Now swimming up the Amazon is an impressive feat – but I reckon it is a feat that pales in comparison to the feats of Martin Luther King. I also find it a bit of a slight really – but then there you go!

Martin Strel (aka Fishman) will be at risk from the toothpick fish – a creature that swims up the penis and then raises its spines. It can then only be removed by surgery (Check the link – it’s there!)

Shilpa Shetty – most annoying BB winner?

Bookies have placed Ms Shetty as odds-on favourite to win in the BB circus.

I think if she does, she will surely be the most annoying. She was hard-done by, and went through alot of grief. But man, is she annoying or what?!

Husband saved from Cougar by his wife…and his pen

This is a great story about a husband and wife who are avid hikers. Unfortunately the husband was set upon by a cougar that began mauling his face…the wife then took his pen and began trying to stab the cougar in its eyes! Unfortunately some trigger-happy rangers went off and shot a couple of cougars which was all a bit pointless really but there you go! From the picture they seem like really powerful creatures…the poor man and his wife both have alot of courage!

Shilpa Shetty is an annoying bitch.

I actually used to think Shilpa was ok. I mean she still is; in a wierd way. She isn’t stupid, she doesn’t come up with stupid questions, she doesn’t bark out but she is goddamn annoying. She has to be the most annoying person I have ever seen on television. I just saw a half hour sesion where she tried to become a leader in a task which really didn’t work at all and all she ended up doing was shouting in a squeeky voice and imposing her opinions on everyone else. Kind of like what an annoying pretentious empty headed rich kid would do!
Now as for Dirk? I like him! I also like his taste in cigars…

Lonnie Stiffler (61) charged with attempted child molestation (of a 29 year old man!)

Fantastic story! Basically the man on the right (Lonnie Stiffler) has been housing the man on the right (Neil Havens Rodreick II no less). He has also been screwing Neil Havens Rodreick II with his friend Robert James Snow. Both Stiffler and Snow thought that Neil was a 12-year old and one even accompanied him to school passing himself off as his grandfather. For his part, Neil would shave his head and use makeup in order to seem younger. He was also absent alot of the time from the school and did not mix much with the students. Now that the courts know, they are charging Stiffler and Snow with attempted child molestation (because they thought Neil was a minor) and Neil with conspiracy to commit fraud and forgery. Two things here are really comical but also very sad. 1) that Stiffler and Snow are upset that Neil turned out to be an adult (wasn’t the size of his …oh forget it!) and 2) they are being charged for committing a legal act but wishing it was illegal!

I am also amazed at the quality of an educational system where the teacher simply noticed the student to be “aloof and kept himself to himself”! Link

I actually liked Channel 4 – they weren’t churning out loads and loads of crap (apart from friends which I never really watched anyways so I can’t really comment, but I didn’t like it anyways) and they had some reall interesting stuff on.

I am not sure what exactly she is wearing – but that’s irrelevant to this post. The contorted face of Jade Goody covers a soul so tormented by her own inadequacy it wishes to commit suicide. Not the greatest thing in the world at all, and certainly never something to wish upon other people – but can Jade Goody commit suicide? Beyonce’s hair – even the stars suffer from peer pressure!

Beyonce, the afro-American singer, dancer and actress, is by nature a woman with rather coarse hair. Maybe not coarse as it makes some people unhappy, but afro-ish hair.

This means that its thick, and rather curly. It also causes lots of hassle for people to take care of. Anyway, I can’t ever remember her with anything remotely similar to an afro and I always assumed that she might have an interesting gene pool. Yet this picture and article simply showed me that even stars whom millions of young girls and boys follow their every move pander to public opinion and certain images of what a woman should be like. She wears wigs with straight hair! Why?!

Angry, penis-removing doctor!

Oh dear, oh dear! A doctor lost his temper and chopped off his patients penis! He then proceeded to cut it up into small pieces and stormed off. The strange thing is that his colleagues are upset that the court has ordered him to pay part of the damages! I really feelfor the patient who is now having a rebuilt penis being made for him using tissue from his arm…

Well now the majestically overweight Britney Spears and the impossibly thin Paris Hilton appear to have taken separate paths on their road to more papparazzi snaps, boyfriends and small confused dogs. But the question is: Who dumped who?!

Muslim cleric in Australia: Jews are Pigs

As you can see; the picture is of a Muslim woman covering herself with an Australian flag. She clearly sees no problem being Australian and Muslim at the same time. Now recently a cleric called Jews pigs. This follows on from another cleric who denounced scantily clad women as uncovered meat; in reference to a serious crime of multiple rape. Now the thing is that if everything was in proportion I reckon it would make more sense.

The Islamic religion does name Jews as Pigs. Thats a fact. I can’t deny nor can anyone else. I have examples of a number of other faiths that have certain adjectives they use against other people but that is not the issue. At the end of the day; religion is divisive. I don’t have a problem with that provided that the divisiveness just doesn’t cause someone to hit me or impinge on my human rights. Divisive? Yes, of course it divides people;

Jade & Co. vs Shilpa Shetty

Well; it is a tumultuous clash between an upper-middle class woman who speaks 8 languages, is well-educated, well-mannered (to the point of eccentricity), comes from a “good family” and a group of yobs who come from dysfunctional families and thrive in dank housing with beer cans as secondary carpets.It is almost unanimously agreed that Shilpa has set a most impressive example for others to follow – she has dealt with terrible bullying and ignorance with rather unexpected grace. Jade and Co have shown themselves to be throwaways to the Yob culture which afflicted Britain for so many years and apparently still has its stalwarts. Looking at the exchange between Jade and Shilpa, the sight of a barking, overweight and ignorant woman made for really sorry TV watching. Not for Shilpa – Shilpa obviously has much to return to. Not simply financially or career-wise; Shilpa is an educated and cultured woman who has a brain. Jade is an ignorant woman who will never be able to produce anything of worth. For me it is not racism (I am sure Jade will try to assure everyone of this as soon as she leaves) that is making Jade do this.

I have had a few imates over the past three years, and I have to say that whilst they do have their fair share of bugs, they are by far the most advanced phones on the market to date. Here is a link to their page with all of their products listed. I own an imate jam, a jasjam and pdal. Now it is obviously unfair and unacademic to compare them to a phone that I still haven’t touched (not even out). So just check out the two sites and compare the specs and I reckon you will agree that for now the imate kicks ass!

The Shilpa Shetty factor

Now Blair has also waded into the argument saying that Britons should oppose racism in all of its forms. Asian MP Keith Vaz also tabled an Early Day Motion which sought to make Channel Four tell the BB households about certain limits etc.

This is all a very interesting debate which raises an issue of whether or not the BB household is truly representative of Britons or not. If, as in the household, many Britons are ignorant and racist, then this would be a problem. Whilst I was born and raised in London all my life, I think I am lucky in that London is a truly unique and culturally diverse city. From what I have seen during the past few years, not much of Britain is like London. That is worrying!

Over 2000 complaints from enraged Celebrity Big Brother viewers have flooded Ofcom. The complaints allege that racial offences are being committed against Shilpa Shetty, a prominent Bollywood actress. Already a number of BB particpants have been referring to Shilpa as “the Indian” and on another occassion her accent was made fun of. Ofcom is now looking into the matter. Shilpa Shetty’s mother is hoping that Shilpa will not be adversely affected by the terrible behaviour meted out to her.

This is one of the least watched BB’s and one that has recieved the most complaints.
