This guy is about to swim up the Amazon river, risking his life and catching a million and one tropical diseases purely to “prove to the world that nothing is surmountable”. I am not sure if the mistake is from him or from the metro.co.uk people but what was more laughable, quite frankly, is his ridiculous citation of Martin Luther King; a man who died to abolish racism and to see equality established in what is a very unjust country.

Now swimming up the Amazon is an impressive feat – but I reckon it is a feat that pales in comparison to the feats of Martin Luther King. I also find it a bit of a slight really – but then there you go!

Husband saved from Cougar by his wife…and his pen

This is a great story about a husband and wife who are avid hikers. Unfortunately the husband was set upon by a cougar that began mauling his face…the wife then took his pen and began trying to stab the cougar in its eyes! Unfortunately some trigger-happy rangers went off and shot a couple of cougars which was all a bit pointless really but there you go! From the picture they seem like really powerful creatures…the poor man and his wife both have alot of courage!

Lonnie Stiffler (61) charged with attempted child molestation (of a 29 year old man!)

Fantastic story! Basically the man on the right (Lonnie Stiffler) has been housing the man on the right (Neil Havens Rodreick II no less). He has also been screwing Neil Havens Rodreick II with his friend Robert James Snow. Both Stiffler and Snow thought that Neil was a 12-year old and one even accompanied him to school passing himself off as his grandfather. For his part, Neil would shave his head and use makeup in order to seem younger. He was also absent alot of the time from the school and did not mix much with the students. Now that the courts know, they are charging Stiffler and Snow with attempted child molestation (because they thought Neil was a minor) and Neil with conspiracy to commit fraud and forgery. Two things here are really comical but also very sad. 1) that Stiffler and Snow are upset that Neil turned out to be an adult (wasn’t the size of his …oh forget it!) and 2) they are being charged for committing a legal act but wishing it was illegal!

I am also amazed at the quality of an educational system where the teacher simply noticed the student to be “aloof and kept himself to himself”! Link

I can’t believe it; I have to praise the police twice in only a few days!!! (I’m kidding – I think most of them are outstanding and dutiful officers – it’s just the bastards who tie them up in stupid rules and regulations that ruin things)…BUT they have done all of us proud. They are now hacking into No10’s emails in order to get past the blatant cover-ups and the filthy behaviour of politicians and their cronies. I hope something good will come of this; namely Mr Blair resigning. Look at his face, look at his arrogant walk and his patronizing speeches – is it not a good thing for these to be banished from No10? Can we not reclaim our position amongst respected nations rather than remain hated and isolated (like America)?!

Metropolitan Police: Forget the druggies, the pushers, the Kurdish yobs, the Somalian gangs, the pissed off single mothers and the alcoholics on the streets – you have something far greater to do and our future rests upon it. Please, do your best, we all have faith in you. Get Tony Bliar and his cronies. Make them feel the full force of the law. Show them that the men in blue are not to be messed with. Show Blunkett that for all of his tenure as home secretary violating your duties and jobs, you remain unscathed. Show Britain that whilst voters fell for his crooked smile and cheap lies, you remained aloof and intelligent. You are our hope and with your courage and strength, nothing can stand in your way. Angry, penis-removing doctor!

Oh dear, oh dear! A doctor lost his temper and chopped off his patients penis! He then proceeded to cut it up into small pieces and stormed off. The strange thing is that his colleagues are upset that the court has ordered him to pay part of the damages! I really feelfor the patient who is now having a rebuilt penis being made for him using tissue from his arm…

I have had a few imates over the past three years, and I have to say that whilst they do have their fair share of bugs, they are by far the most advanced phones on the market to date. Here is a link to their page with all of their products listed. I own an imate jam, a jasjam and pdal. Now it is obviously unfair and unacademic to compare them to a phone that I still haven’t touched (not even out). So just check out the two sites and compare the specs and I reckon you will agree that for now the imate kicks ass!

www.myheritage.com is a site that runs face recognition for you – basically upload a pic of yourself and it will give you a list of the celebrities that look the most like you. I don’t know how it works becaue I tried it with two pictures (both taken with my isight) with the only difference being my hair. The site then gave me two lists! In order of similarity the first list gave me: Benny Goodman, Orlando Bloom, Chris Evans (not the ginger one), Omar Sherif and Jennifer Capriati!
The second gave me Mark Feehily, Cameron Bright, Joseph Schwartzman, Lee Ryan and Kim ll-Sung.

So apparently this is who I look like the most (it was given the highest percentage) I also didn’t know who he was until I read a wikipedia entry. (thanks to mark)

Apple IPHONE

The much-anticipated, long-awaited iphone is now here.

Steve Jobs unveiled it at the macworld expo and it appears to have some nifty features – the one that I thought was rather unique and pretty cool were the visual voicemail – which lets you see a list of those who left you voicemessages and pick which ones you want to listen to. Apart from that to be perfectly honest it hasn’t really offered anything great! Ok, it has safari instead of explorer – but the i-mate provides everything that the iphone does and more. It also has a fast processor – as of yet the website says nothing about the iphone’s processor speed. Oh, and it appears the iphone has no external/removable memory capacity. I therefore think it won’t and shouldn’t be a success.

The design of the iphone is also a bit dissapointing!

From the short and their website I guess they are trying to be creative and good luck to them. But I reckon the girls need to think about the way they are selling themselves on their website because I think they have quiet a bit of talent BUT they come off as being a bit annoying and long-winded. Maybe their videos could have had a montage of their formal singing/other talents as well as clips here and there.

But then I guess listen to Americans talking about themselves for a while is not what a Londoner prefers doing…
